Oh Dreamburger
This haiku is dedicated to the Dreamburger from Pann's Diner on La Tijera.
oh sweet dreamburgerWhy a post dedicated to one burger? Was it that delicious to resurrect this blog out of the ashes of Westwood? Well no. It was kinda gross actually. But the ideals and fantasies that fly in my head of experiencing such a dream burger.... oh dreamburger... one day you will meet my lips.
your sweet buns are like kisses
teasing me in bliss
It's also worthy to note, that the deluxe version of the dreamburger does not contain more meat or dreaminess. Instead you get an extra side. Oh Pann's. You slay me.

HOR MOK YOU!!
I was really puzzled by the HOR MOK signature dish I had at the Thai restaurant from our last outing. It came in an elaborate plate with a bunch of ceramic lids on top to conceal food underneath each compartment.
When I first saw the presentation, I was anticipating various nuggets of bite-sized seafood bits within each compartment. I imagined myself as a cullinary Monty Hall at a buffet scene straight from the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. "Oh what's under lid number 1? Maybe tuna? Eels? Sea slugs? Monkey brains?!?!" But my excitement diminished after each unveiling revealed DONKEYS. They were all the same crabs and scallops and SHIT.

Not that crabs and scallops were all that bad, but c'mon, why the tease?! What a bunch of HOR MOK!

Cheeseburger In A Can
This is one of the most disturbing yet awesome things I've seen this year. Cheeseburger in a can! Some goon on the somethingawful forums had the privilege of reviewing this product here.
Behold..
What a tremendous scientific achievement! When the world ends in twenty years, it's reassuring to know the last remaining humans will still be able to feast on good ol' fashioned cheeseburgers from yesteryear.

Bacon Flowchart
I'm not sure who created this flowchart, but it's obviously the work of a genius. It reinforces the simple concept that all hungry thoughts lead to bacon.
Maybe it was created by this guy who came up with a unified theory of bacon which goes something like this:
I. Every food product perseveres in its state of being delicious or of not being delicious, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by bacon impressed.
II. The rate of change of deliciousness of a food product is proportional to the resultant bacon acting on the food and is in the same direction as the bacon vector.
III. When the food product acted upon by bacon is of cheese persuasion, the deliciousness of the acting bacon force is increased with a rate of change proportional to the cheese force.
Now I have no idea what that all means because I sucked at science and math, but whatever he said, it sure sounds cool.

Allez Cuisine
Welcome to the newest 1,992,225th food blog on the web. What makes us different than the others? Nothing. Frankly, we don't care if you read our blog. We have only one audience. Our hungry bellies. And oh are we hungry. Hungry for food and for life. We live to eat and we eat to live.
And as the unofficial chairman of this blog, it's time for me to bite that yellow pepper and start the show. Ready...set...EAT!!
